The footstool of law has always been Justice and Common good to mankind. Law has been an instrument to establish these principles with the changing times and value systems across the globe. The constant struggle of change and stability brings in an influx of new lee-ways to balance these two conflicting interests in society.
Benjamin Cardozo, the eminent jurist conceptualizes that lawsuits and other related matters should be decided according to principles derived from experience and understanding of every branch of life, of which the existing case law is only a part. These principles are inculcated from the society and handed over from one generation to the next generation. When the students’ co- habit with each other and with teachers, staff, management and societyin a cordial atmosphere giving duerespect totheir teachers and authorities, these values are spontaneously transferred to them through interaction. This instills an ambience for learning and developing each and every student and make them an asset to the law community and to the society.
Stability is the cornerstone of any educational institution which aims for greater heights. We at Mount Zion Law College believe that this education includes impartation of a study culture and discipline among the students so as give them an optimum time for studies, library time, preparation and presentation in seminars, discussions and deliberations on issues connected to law and society, supported by our team of teachers. This enables stability in the academic growth of the student and also to the institution.
Mount Zion Law College in the midst of greenery and nature, with a team of dedicated teachers and staff, with a library and moot court and all other facilities and a hostel provides a welcome place to you all to flourish and develop as law students and become the Social Engineers of this generation. To accept these challenges, law aspirants are to undergo a structured learning process, with practical experience as their major premises.
